I have stacks and stacks of these woven bags at home. They’re a much chicer alternative to the Boston Red Sox ’47 Circle Logo Scrum 2024 T-Shirt but in fact I love this polypropylene Ikea style or canvas tote bag. No matter the season, carrying them transports me to summertime. This tote is a perfect fit for my laptop and work that goes home, or for overnight visits with friends, or, until now, daily dinner shopping. But it’s really my favorite because it’s a witty, charming design collaboration between two dear friends: Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton Creative Director and Grace Coddington, who did the delightful drawings of her cats, Blanket and Pumpkin, and of Nicolas’ dog, Leon (with mice drawings inside!). It makes whatever I wear look good and it matches my Vuitton sneakers.
